Less paper on the day

The clipboard stays in the car

Send one link to every volunteer the week before. By the time the event starts, the paperwork is done.

  • Send each volunteer their own link by e-mail or text.
  • See who has signed and remind the rest with one click.
  • Each signed copy has a certificate with the signing time.
  • Download everything for your records afterwards.
Good to know. SignLucid sends each envelope to the signers you add; it does not yet send in bulk or collect sign-ups from a public link. Board resolutions and other governance documents can have their own rules under your bylaws and state law โ€” check before using e-signatures for them. If a participant is under 18, have a parent or guardian sign the waiver.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are e-signatures valid on waivers and volunteer agreements?

In the United States, the federal ESIGN Act and state UETA laws generally give an electronic signature the same effect as ink when the signer agrees to sign electronically, intends to sign, the signature is tied to the document, and the record can be kept and reproduced. SignLucid records each of those steps on the certificate of completion. Whether a waiver is enforceable depends on its wording and state law, not on how it was signed. See E-signature laws. This is general information, not legal advice.

Do volunteers and donors need an account or an app?

No. Each signer gets a private link and signs in any browser, on a phone or a computer. Signers never create an account and never pay. If someone has no e-mail, copy their link into a text or WeChat message.

Can volunteers sign on their phone?

Yes. The signing page is made for phones: Start, then Next to each spot, then Finish.

Can volunteers and donors sign in Chinese?

Yes. The signing page, the step-by-step guide and the e-signature consent switch between English and Chinese with one tap. Your document stays exactly as you uploaded it.

What proof do I get when a document is signed?

A signed PDF with an envelope number on every page and a certificate of completion at the end: when each signer agreed to sign electronically and signed, their IP address and device, how they were verified, every event, and SHA-256 fingerprints of the original and signed files. See Security.

How is SignLucid priced?

By firm, per month, from $0.99. Each plan includes a monthly envelope allowance: Basic 3, Starter 30, Pro 100, Firm 300. Pro is for teams of up to 3, Firm for up to 10 and puts your firmโ€™s name and color on the signing page. Try every feature free for 7 days (10 envelopes), no credit card. See pricing.
