Fields placed for you

Upload a PDF and SignLucid finds the signature lines on IRS forms and letter-style “signature” lines. Adjust once, and it remembers the layout for that form.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is SignLucid only for tax firms?

No. It started in a working CPA firm, so IRS forms like 8879, 2848 and 8821 are recognised out of the box, but any office can upload its own PDFs. Letter-style signature lines are found automatically, and every layout you place is remembered.

Are e-signatures legally binding?

In the United States, the federal ESIGN Act and state UETA laws generally give an electronic signature the same effect as ink when the signer agrees to sign electronically, intends to sign, the signature is tied to the document, and the record can be kept and reproduced. SignLucid records each of those steps on the certificate of completion. A few kinds of documents, such as wills, family-law matters, court documents and some notices, are excluded or have their own rules. See E-signature laws. This is general information, not legal advice.

What documents should I not send with SignLucid?

Documents that must be notarized or recorded (such as deeds), wills and testamentary trusts, family-law and court documents, notices cancelling health or life insurance, anything containing patients’ health information, and Form I-9.

Do signers need an account or an app?

No. Each signer gets a private link and signs in any browser, on a phone or a computer. Signers never create an account and never pay. If someone has no e-mail, copy their link into a text or WeChat message.

How is SignLucid priced?

By firm, per month, from $0.99. Each plan includes a monthly envelope allowance: Basic 3, Starter 30, Pro 100, Firm 300. Pro is for teams of up to 3, Firm for up to 10 and puts your firm’s name and color on the signing page. Try every feature free for 7 days (10 envelopes), no credit card. See pricing.
