Invoices · on every plan

One sentence in. One link to sign and pay.

Write the invoice the way you’d say it, in English or Chinese. Check the draft and send it. Your client opens one private link to view the invoice, sign to approve it if you ask, and see how to pay. No account needed.

Invoicing, start to finish.

One sentence becomes an invoice, your client signs and pays from one link, and you mark it paid. About 90 seconds, sample data, no sound.

What you get

Everything from the invoice to “paid”

The same tool your clients already use to sign, now for your fees: tax prep, bookkeeping, consulting.

🧾

One-sentence invoices

Who, what for, how much, plus a due date or e-mail if you like. The client, line items and total are filled in. Prices you used before for the same item come back on their own.

文

English, Chinese or both

Each line item has an English and a Chinese name. Choose an English, Chinese or side-by-side PDF for each invoice.

🤝

Sign to approve, then pay

Tick one box and your client signs the invoice with SignLucid’s guided signing before paying, on the same page. The signed invoice comes with a certificate of completion.

🔗

Send it any way you like

We e-mail it for you, or send the link yourself by WhatsApp, text message or WeChat in one tap. No e-mail address needed.

📱

One private link for your client

No account and no app. They see the invoice and PDF, every payment method you set up with one-tap copy, and can upload a payment screenshot to let you know.

✉️

Reminders and records

Automatic e-mail reminders on the due date and 7 days late. See who opened the link, record payments, and copy an invoice to start next year’s.

How to use it

From sign-in to “paid” in six steps

In SignLucid, open Invoices at the top of the page.

Set up how clients pay

Once: in Settings, under “Invoices and how clients pay”, add the ways you take payment, such as Zelle, bank transfer, check, or an online payment link from Stripe, Square, QuickBooks or PayPal. They print on the invoice and show on your client’s page.

Write one sentence

Click New invoice and type something like “Bill John Smith $450 for his 2025 tax return, due Nov 15”. Add “ask him to sign” if you want an approval signature. Prefer forms? Fill it in yourself.

Check the draft

Look over the client, items, amounts, due date and PDF language. Preview the PDF, turn reminders on or off, then click Send invoice.

Get it to your client

With an e-mail address, it’s e-mailed for you. Without one, or as well, send the link by WhatsApp, text or WeChat from the screen that opens.

Your client signs and pays

They open the link, sign first if you asked, and pay with one of your methods. They can upload a screenshot to say “I’ve paid”, and the reminders stop.

Mark it paid

When a client says they’ve paid, check it and click Confirm payment, or record a payment yourself. Your client gets a confirmation e-mail.

Tip: in the invoice list, filter by unpaid, overdue or “client says paid”, and use Duplicate for repeat clients.

AI-assisted invoicing · every plan

Recognized as you type, with your services ready

SignLucid picks out the client, e-mail, service, amount and due date as you type, and shows what’s still missing. Tap a common service, such as individual or business tax return, bookkeeping, payroll or consulting, or one you’ve billed before, and it fills in the line with the price you used last time.

  • You check before anything is sent. Nothing goes to your client until you click Send.
  • Your sentence stays with SignLucid. It isn’t sent to any AI provider.
  • The same on every plan.

Write it the way you’d say it

“Bill John Miller $450 for 2025 personal tax, rush fee $100, due Nov 15, ask him to sign.” Or in Chinese: “给 John Miller 开 2025 个人报税 $450,加急 $100,11月15日前付,请他签字确认”. Either way, each line item comes out in English and Chinese.

FAQ

Questions about invoices

Which plans include invoices?

Every plan. An invoice that asks your client to sign counts as one envelope in your monthly allowance, like any other.

Does my client need an account or an app?

No. They open a private link in any browser to view the invoice, download the PDF, sign if you asked, and see how to pay.

Which payment methods can I show?

The ones you set up: bank transfer or ACH, check, an online payment link (for example from Stripe, Square, QuickBooks or PayPal, shown as a “Pay online” button), and any other method you describe. Your client can copy each detail with one tap.

My client has no e-mail address. Can I still send it?

Yes. After you send, copy the link or send it straight to WhatsApp, a text message or WeChat. Automatic reminders need an e-mail address.

When do reminders go out?

On the due date and again 7 days later, by e-mail, if the invoice is still unpaid. They stop once your client uploads a payment screenshot or you mark it paid, and you can turn them off for any invoice.

What language is the invoice in?

English, Chinese, or side by side, chosen per invoice; you can set a default in Settings. Your client can switch the page between English and Chinese.

Can I cancel an invoice?

Yes. Void it and the client’s link stops working; an approval signature on it is voided too. You can also duplicate any invoice to start a new one.
